For good or bad, when someone tells us something about ourselves, we listen. The words we choose to listen to will undoubtedly shape our identity. In one verse Peter tells us so much about our identity in Christ. Let this verse be what shapes who we are.
Peter identifies himself in the opening verse of his letter and calls himself an apostle. This tells us much about Peter's journey and reliance on Christ and gives us some encouragement as we pursue our identity in Christ.
